It's Gonna Be A Great Day! By Amy Stephens
A book to help get rid of those first day jitters!
Have your kids ever been afraid of the first day of school? Or said they didn’t feel well because they didn’t want to go to school? It’s Gonna Be A Great Day! is a book that shows kids how to use positive thinking to change those feelings. The author, Amy Stephens, wrote the book from her heart after her own daughter was suffering from separation anxiety. This is a cute book with bold watercolor illustration and big print letters even new readers can enjoy!
In the beginning of the book, the little girl is feeling sick and doesn’t want to go to school. By the end of the story, her mother’s positive affirmation “It’s Gonna Be A Great Day!” helps the girl realize that she is the one who can make her day Great! School has just started and if anyone has a child who doesn’t want to go to school, this is just the book for you! It's Gonna Be A Great Day! is a wonderful to help your child start the year off right.
Wondering where you can purchase your own copy, just click here. The author, Amy Stephens lives in Southern Indiana with her husband and three daughters. She is also a photographer. This is her first published book. Amy stated this about her book “What an incredible thing it would be if every child could realize that even though they’re small – they have the power within them to determine whether or not they have a great day. Wouldn’t it be nice if we would all wake up and say, “It’s Gonna Be a Great Day!” I completely agree!
