I was a 90's child.  I remember each year about this time we would go shopping for school supplies and new clothes. A teen of the 90's wanted the grunge look, BirkenstockS and socks, and cuffed jeans..What were we thinking?

These are the hot items of the 2010/11 school year!  My, my have times changed!!

Jeggings:  Leggings made to look like tight fitting jeans.  This style has been sported by Charlize Theron, and Reese Whitherspoon.

IPAD:  Not a smart Phone, not a laptop, but a computer that can fit into a backpack. With all it's applications, this could be a great school tool.

TRAPPER KEEPER:  Yep, their baaacckkk!!  I had a few of these in my school days, and I never understood why they went out of style!  They have nifty designs, and can hold every school subject your kid has!!

MESSENGER BAGS:  I want one of these for a diaper bag!!  I want to be a hip mom!  These bags sling over your child's shoulder giving them less tension on their backs from a backpack.  It also creates easier access to books and papers for your students!

LAPTOPS:  Most computer makers have made laptops with kids in mind.  They are now sleek and thin, with a longer battery life and backlight keyboards!  If you can't afford an Ipad, this is the way to go!

FLASH DRIVE:    A USB Flashdrive can come in all shapes and sizes.  Students can share notes, transfer files, and back up their computers.

CALCULATOR:  In my math classes we were never allowed to use calculators.  Guess that has changed now! Calculators now are crazy!  They can store information, and can display calculation results in three dimensions!

COWBOY BOOTS:  What's up Pardner??  Cowboy boots are a new fashion trend predicted for this fall!  I even have a pair for Gracie!  Seriously.  With stars like Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson wearing them, it's no wonder that they are popular!

DIGITAL VOICE RECORDERS:    Kids can record lessons, and speeches. With memory, they can be downloaded into their computers!

MILITARY APPAREL:  Not camo print, but apparel that resembles 20th century uniforms!!  Hey, this is predicted by Fashionising.com, not me!!

So there you have it!  The TOP TEN must have items for the 2010-2011 school year!!

Have fun shopping everyone!!
